1991 70hp carbs on 1988 70hp possible?

I have a 1988 (j70tlcca) that i have been fighting a lean idle since i purchased it last fall. i have done lots of trouble shooting. i would like to try another set of carbs to rule that them out. i have found a set of carbs off of a 1991 70hp that i could acquire at a decent price and was wondering if they will be a bolt and go swap, or need rejetting, or not work at all. Comparing part diagrams i know they have different size jets, and a adjustable slow speed jet which i like, but i know there is alot more to calibration to carbs than just the jets. thanks ducker.

As long as they are from a 70 it will be a bolt and go install but make sure you get the linkages...
