Just wanted to ask everyone what they thought of the 1991 Capri. I just bought it and am currently doing a floor & stringer repair on my Glassport. The Bayliner's floor seems to be extremely solid. From what I can see in the ski locker and also the rear compartments of this boat, the floor seems to be fiberglassed and gelcoated (or some sort of smooth finish). Compared to the Glassport, this Bayliner is a jem! The guy I bought it from kept it in the water last boating season, and I don't think it was ever covered except for storage during the winter (shrink wrap).

I just wanted to know everyone's opinions on these Capris. I think they are constructed great.

Older boats can't be judged too well on a model by model basis. It's all about how they were maintained. I believe the popular opinion is that the 80's/90's Bayliner Capris are pretty low on the quality scale and notorious for rot. However, would I rather have a rotted out top of the line boat or a solid Capri? Capri every time.
