1991 Capri V6 4.3L Beutty

Hello everyone,

New to the forum...I bought my boat 2 years ago and I love it. It is one of the best looking boats around. I wanted to ask everyone where can I go to get information on this boat (Owners manual, Technical specs, Engine service manual, Electrical Manual...etc) I want to make sure that the engine is wired up correctly and that all components on there belong there. Basically I want this thing the way it came out of Factory. I love this boat and want to make sure it stays with me for a long time.

I tried to contact Bay liner but got no responce...Can anyone help?

Just give Bayliner customer Service a call - 877-861-6494. Very decent folks. They will send you ( if available ) a photocopy of your owner's manual at no charge. It will have some info but not all that you are wanting. There won't be any engine stuff but a decent electrical wiring schematic. Have your HIN handy - they will ask you for it.
As far as engine manuals are concerned please purchase the genuine books. Not a Clymer or the like. Most folks consider them garbage ( which they are ).
There's just no way to tell if your engine is 'factory stock'. There's no reason it shouldn't be. Keep poking around the net and look at your particular boat that's for sale. There are usually some engine pics included - give you some idea of what's what.

These guys at the bayliner owners forum can help. Is it a Merc, OMC or Volvo package? If it is Merc then there are many places online to download merc manuals. Do not have my links on me right now.
