Could someone out there with this or similar boat raise their back seat and let me know if your 5/8" plywood is coated. Also if possible rasie the deck over the fuel tank and look at that. Mine appears to have never been coated with anything. Is this normal? I am wondering if I need to epoxy coat my replacements or just the edges with CPES from the rotdoctor? Thanks for the help.

Hi, we just got a twin to yours and I not sure exactly but ours seems to have a varnish/polyurethane of some type at least over the gas tank panel. Havent really looked closely at the engine covers yet but will tomorrow if the rain quits. The support braces do not so they are a bit punky. I will be replacing them as well as the SS hardware and adding more. I will post up more tomorrow.

Thanks. Is the hardware, the hinge for the head? My windshield leaks and the original owner's only used a boat cover that was from the top of the windshield on back. I can't blame them because they were unable to get into the boat for the last 4 years due to injuries from an auto accident. Which is why they sold the boat. Anyway the leaky windshield let water run into the cuddy down the heads door/hinge. Rusted the hinge and rotted the heads walls. Rockler/Woodworker has stainless steel hinges much cheaper then others.
