I have a 1991 evenrude 30 hp . I went to rebuild the carb and found out that my engine calls out for a 432705 carb I have a eq432703. I knew some thing was funny with my carb because there was a needle valve threaded in the orifice plug ( number 1 on the diagram) and no nipple on the float bowl (number 22,23,25 on diagram). The kid that I got this engine from told me that the needle valve that was in the orifice plug hole
was from another engine. I wanted to rebuild this carb because the engine was not idleing right. I adjusted the slow speed adjust needle valve(nunber 14 on parts list diagram).before taking carb off, and dont know how it should be set. What is the difference between these two carbs and how can I resolve this problem.
