1991 Evinrude 225 No spark

went out one day and all of the sudden the engine slowed down and quit. Checked things out and one of the battery lugs came off. Once at home turned her over would idle for 2 min and then would drop the right bank. Checked for overheat, disconnected shift interupter and nothing still did it. Borrowed a power pack from my friend wired it up exact and it did fine all 6 cylinders fired. Next day went to start again and no spark. What next. Any help appreciated.

Unhook the boat harness from the engine harness but unplugging the red cannon plug. Then check spark by jumping the solenoid. If you try to start it, you;l have to flood it to kill it.

Ok did that no spark. I will try some of the ohmeter tests in my manual. Is there any test equipment i can buy that will make it easier to diagnose.
