1991 JOHNSON 140 WATER PUMP PROBLEM

I DID A LITTER PREVENTIVE MAINTANCE ON MY 1991 JOHNSON 140 HP, CHANGED THE WATER PUMP. PUT EVERYTHING BACK TOGETHER STARTED IT UP USING RABBIT EARS, NO WATER!! ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Mike-O,<br /><br />It could be several things.<br /><br />1. Is the new impeller keyed to the shaft?<br /><br />2. Is the new impeller installed to rotate in the right direction?<br /><br />3. Most likely-you missed the water tube when you re-stabbed the lower unit.
