so my johnson 140hp keeps misfiring at idle. Will a weak/bad stator or rectifier cause it to misfire around the 1200-1500rpm range? This engine only has a 9amp stator on it so I don't know if that matters. What is the voltage supposed to be at? Is it supposed to stay around 14 volts like on a car? Cause mine only shows around 12.6-12.9 even with the engine running. So will a bad charging system cause the engine to mis bad or does that not matter?
