New to the forums and new to boating. I’ll introduce myself. Names chuck and recently got a 1991 playtime 18.5 cuddy with a 140 merc 3.0. Not sure what ratio my outdrive is but I have a prop question. After searching the prop numbers it looks like I have a 23 pitch 14 inch prop seems a little over propped but wot is 4200-4300 and no more should I go to a 19 to bring the rpms up some or leave it be.
