1991 Trophy Walk Around

I have a 1991 Bayliner Trophy Around, it has 2 "Fish Well" on the boat. I cant get the water to drain out of the tubes, theirs a switch on the dash that says Fish Wells, it sound strong when I turn it on but noting drains?

This boat is new to me, am I missing something? It appears the drain is high up on the Starboard side so I'm assuming the pump should take it out.

I’ve never worked a boat that used a pump to drain water from a bait well or fish box.

They have all been gravity drains that required a plug or stand pipe to fill and use.

The drain high up on the side wall is the overflow for the tank when in use.
