1992 115hp johnson oil injection wires

I just changed my motor...90 hp evinrude to 115hp johnson ..my 90hp was hooked-up pre-mix..this motor is oil injected and the wires were off the motor for the oil injection when i bought it ..i dont know where to hook them up too..any help would be appreciated...

I dont know if need to hook them up, i call the guy i bought the motor from and he said they were never hooked up before...Do i need to hook these 2 wires up for my oil injection to work..please help

Sounds like the previous owner was "Pre-Mixing" his fuel as well. I would verifiy the pump works before running it on straight gas.

The pump is strictly mechanical and will work exactly the same without any wires, but you will not have any VRO/OMS alarm system without the wires.

so where does these 2 wires hook up too..he never premixed..he always used the oil tank and just never had the wires connected...i assume he didnt know where they connected either.....I would like to connect them..some one said one connects to ground and not sure where the other one connected too. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED..

You should find a single bullet connector with a tan wire for the oil tank connection to the engine harness.

There should also be a four-wire amphenol plug to connect the fuel pump warning harness to the engine harness.

When you have both connected you will have adequate warning in case of OMS failure.

I found the bullet connection on the motor to the oil injection , now the other wire from the oil injection , I dont know where that goes...Any help where i can connect the other wire would be very helpful

The amphenol plug for the VRO/OMS pump is connected to the main engine harness. You will probably find it tucked behind something like the PT&T relay box.

The wires im talking about are the dual wire coming from the oil reserve tank itself. the one wire connected to the bullet end and the other one i dont see anywhere it goes...is it just a ground

Yes, the second wire from the oil tank is the ground.
