1992 150 f/s

bought boat a few weeks ago had been sitting for a year or more had old gas ect. drained/changed/cleaned tank, took it to the lake started right up idled ok after a few min. warmup header out got about a mile it died like i had hit the kill switch. waited a few min. about 15 min started right up ,ran for about a mile died again. pulled the cowel there on the water checked the spark and had none, waited about 15 min. would not start, waited 15 more min started up. pulled fuel filter pumped ball good flow of fuel. when it dies i have no fire in the wire.

could be heli coils, when the start to go you'll notice it when there warm (resistance is higher when hot). When you say you have no spark is it on all 6 or just one or two?? cause if you have none on any i'd check out the power pack.

thanks for the info, just read another thread about same proublem i have, 150 v6 silver series. could not have discribed my proublem better!!!. going to be able to talk to my tech. guy with a little more understanding about the proublem. THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH!!!.

well the results of all this was the power pac. and sensor got it replaced and she runs great Thanks to ALL for the help!!!!!!
