By three ram I suspect you mean the center trim cylinder with a pentagon shaped cap, a port side shock absorber, and a starboard side tilt cylinder.

If the transom clamps are the same, yes it will fit. BUT BE CAREFUL and question BEFORE you buy: Many times they sell the complete unit because the trim cylinder assembly is corroded onto the lower shaft. It will function and tilt, BUT: It will not pivot freely and can not be disassembled. Be especially wary if it was from a salt water engine.

92 should fit as long as the bottom of the pump is higher than the bottom of the trim housing. Mercury made some changes during the 1990's. As long as the bottom of the pump mounts higher than the trim housing then it will fit your engine no matter which of the four pump/motor styles it has.

as Frank says galvanic corrosion is the #1 problem. If the seller isn't willing to remove the TnT from the transom clamps then buy with extreme caution. You may look at the system and think "oh, it's not that bad. I can get that out in an hour or so". It doesn't work like that. That white powder corrosion is just the tip of the iceberg. In reality it will be 10x more difficult than it looks.
