Need some advice!
I have a 1992 model Mercury 200 EFI XRI with a newly built powerhead, while breaking it in I stopped started Engine, and after restart the boat will no longer jump past 3000 rpm.
boat idles fine, fires at idle has 90-100 compression on all 6 cylinders. I replace the Stator, Trigger, both voltage regulators, and brain boxes.
still will not run past 3k rpm.
Ive taken it to a local marine shop, and they cannot diagnose the issue,
