Have a 92 200XP evinrude mod: 200STLENS. At cooler air temps (under 85 deg F. engine idles good, great hole shot, runs great, good top end..all good
altitude...midwest IL, MO, IN, WI, MN
BUT at air temps above 85 deg F(approx) idles good, top end good, but HOLE SHOT is doggy, loads up and takes up to a minute to get on plane...smell of fuel...I think running rich.
Here whats been done to try to correct problem: timing good, synk/link ck ok, plugs good, prop good, rebuilt all 6 carbs, fuel good, compression 95 to 100 in all cly. For some reason getting too much fuel when punching the throttle...Jet problem? Any all suggestions welcomed...need help thanks
