i was on the lake the other day fishing,i started the boat up and started down the lake,i was running around 45 when the motor suddenly slowed down off of plane theo motor did not shut down but i could not get back on plane or get the motor over 2500rpms,at idle the motor keeps surging high and low,i also herd a buzzing inside the motor compartment,so i took the cowling off and the buzzing was coming from the right of the motor where the fuel pump is located.the motor starts fine but just surges at idle, can someome give me a hint on this problem where to look?

Do you have a manual .I don't know much about your year model myself ,But it sounds like it has gone some kind of limp mode? A manual may help tell you something. Sorry, also let me tell you this forum at iboats has the best boating forum on the net. Nor will you ever find a better, nice-er, or smarter group of people that are willing to help anyone in need. We are only human and a lot of the guys here spend many hrs. In a shop working on boats that have limited time to help people at times. You may find help in one minute here or it can take a day or two for someone that can answer your questions that knows your model. No matter if it is your first post or 100,000th
Also I'm not trying to be smart but from your replies to your posts. It will be hard to find anyone anywhere to offer help with a attitude like you have had... Sorry but it looks like you will need a manual for sure! or dish out $65.00 pr hr for some troubleshoothig.
Tim

Seafoam can cure a lot of fuel related problems. You can find it at Autozone,Advance,NAPA etc. It is only 3-4 bucks a can, Give it a good dose and see if it helps. Follow JB'S info and you may see more results. Take care and Good Luck.
Tim

What kind of "buzzing" were you getting? If it is EFI was it possibly the injector pump?
