I'll be heading up to the cottage this weekend and I'm looking to get this motor up and running. I was told it starts and runs fine. When you put it into forward or reverse it revs higher but will not go into gear. It has always been stored outside and I'm thinking the neutral idle is stuck? Or maybe a problem with the gear shift cable? I hope it's not the lower unit. Any suggestions on what to look for would be appreciated. I've seen some bashing of Force outboards and I have to say this motor has run excellent every year and never let me down.http://forums.iboats.com/images/icons/icon7.gif
