Hi Guys!
I have been doing a massive amount of reading and troubleshooting. Here is the deal:
1992 TE60TLENE Three Cyl 60 HP. I bought this from a friend and it had been sitting for 3-5 years. I have read almost every piece of info on this site that should help me. I have ordered a manual, but won't be here till next week.I
I have eliminated the kill circuit, pulled the rect. wires and spin it, pulled the main harness and spun it, and still nothing. I have check resistance on the Stator and it shows 780 ohms. All I have found here is 500 ohms. Does this mean it is bad? I have checked the coil resistance and it is right on. They are all three in the window. Cranking speed is fine. Tried it with plugs out to speed it up. Still no spark. The guy I bought it from said he had never had any spark problems. BTW, I have already cleaned fuel tank, installed new fuel lines, and diassembled and cleaned carbs. Replaced water pump. I thought I was just about ready to fish, now I am bummed! Any help would be appreciated. I don't want to buy a stator if it's not the problem, but I will if you guys tell me that's it.
Thanks, Eric
