1992 and 1988 Mercury 135hp V6

Can someone tell me if a 92 and 88 135hp are interchangeable? I have a chance to pick up a 92 in unknown condition. I am wondering if I can interchange the major mechanicals,ie: heads, crank, etc..Thanks, Rich

Everyhthing should matchup. Pull the old powerhead off and drop the new one on.
