I just bought coupled of days ago, a Bayliner Bowrider 1992 Capri. Hull number BIYA15CVG192 it has a Force 70 outboard.
This is my first boat, I have always wanted to get a bowrider, and the price was right. So I have a Few Newbie questions.

1 It doesn't have a Power trim, so I would need the whole unit. Where can I find one? I wish not to pay allot. But I'll need the whole unit. Watch on YouTube to install one, looks real easy. Might be a nice winter project.

2 It must have had a Bimini top, but doesn't have it now. There is mounts for one, but didn't come with anything. Is there someplace I can find the arms, so I can buy a new top for it? I've looked eBay but no luck.

I took my boys out for their first ride after school yesterday. They really love it, and they can't wait to get toys to be pulled around in by the boat. I bought this boat because I remembered when I was a kid. Sending all day on the water at camp, fishing, water skiing, and I wanted them to remember it too.

Re: 1992 Bayliner Bowrider Question

You should be able to find a bimini right here on iboats.com I believe, and for the trim kit, I would search Craigslist and ebay. I have a 90 Capri that had a 90 force on it that I swapped on a 90 Yamaha on it. My father in law still has the motor, along w/ all the controls and trim/tilt kit. If you don't have any luck finding it locally reply back to this post and I could see what I could do for you as I am pretty sure that one would fit, but we would need confirmation.

I just purchased the same boat. WHat did you end up doing for a bimini top?

I bought it on ebay from a local company. It looks great. I also bought the hard back poles. I only wanted the straps on the front. If you want when I get time i'll send you a picture to your cell phone. Send me a email with your cell and i'll send you a picture.
Here is the link of the one I think I bought. It came from this guy. From Gloversville, NY
