Does anybody know what the fuel level sender is on a 1992 bayliner capri? I'm looking into putting new gauges in and not sure which sender i need with the new gauge. The motor is an outboard 120hp force. Thanks for your time

As long as you bought a standard gauge (which is 99% certain that you did), the sender you already have should work just fine. I recently replaced the original gauge in my boat, and it works perfectly with the original sender.

What would you consider a standard gauge. I looked at many marine gauges online and kinda liked an autometer marine gauge. Would you consider that standard?

A standard sender has a resistance of 33 ohms when the tank is full and 240 ohms when it's empty. How about a link to the gauge?

Did a little digging. If this is the gauge you are considering (or any other marine fuel gauge from this company), yes, the stock sending unit wil work with it. Note the "240 - 33 ohm" designation.:)

Of course, this is assuming the sending unit works!
