I just purchased a 1992 Crestliner 196 Eagle. The aerator pump for the live wells sounds really bad and I think I will have to replace it soon. It sits in the very bottom of the bilge and I don't see how it can be reached without lifting the floor boards up. My question is: am I on the right track as far as lifting the floor up which appears to be held down with screws? If so are there any strange things I should watch out for? By the way this has a 120 Johnson mounted on a box extended out past the transom.
