1992 Evinrude SPL Power tilt/trim

Looking for a tilt trim set-up to replace the tired old tilt assist cylinder. What should I be looking for? Part numbers and specifics would help the most.

is your tilt assit from OMC or an aftermarket?

Its the factory tilt assist cylinder that came on the motor.

You are probably better off buying an aftermarket TnT from CMC for $500. Just finding a used TnT factory unit is going to run you $300-$400, then having it installed is more, and how long it will last is unknown.
