I have owned this outboard for several years. Runs fine but very loud.
What I can't figure out is why there is no air filter of some sort attached to the carb? I know it's protected under the cover, but it just seems strange.
Also, any hints on how to make it quieter at higher rpm's...will soundproofing work?
