A year ago I had a 35 hp merc on my small bass boat. The same thing happen to me a year ago. I went out to pre fish for a bass tournament, and I got to my spot, shut the motor down, when I went to starter her back up, I had no fire. I do not remember who helped me on this board, but they talked me through the whole thing intil I found my problem.

Well I need help again. I have sold my small boat, and bought a bigger bass boat this spring. The boat has worked perfect intil today. I was in a bass tournament today, had caught some good fish. When to make a move at around noon, Went to fire up the motor and nothing. It did not even kick. I removed one of the spark plugs. I have lost my fire. With some help I got my boat back to the weigh=in.
This is a inline four cylinder. 1992 115hp Mariner. I was wondering if some could tell me what color wire I need to unplug to make sure it is not my kill switch. I will start there, I guess. It might be something simple.

Stalker170
