1992 Merc Outboard Serial #

Hi:
I bought a boat with a 1992 Merc OB. Oil injection has been disabled according to the seller. Where can I find the serial # on this thing?

There should be a plate on the starboard mount bracket and in a soft plug in the block starboard side of the powerhead

I found it on a sticker on the bracket.
It is 30121076, if I read correctly.
Sound correct?
