1992 Mercury 40 HP Carb reassembly

Hello! First post for me. I'm doing some carb (WMA) cleaning on my 1992 Mercury 40 HP 2 stroke outboard (Serial# 0d173870, Model# 1040411MD, ELHPTO). When reassembling the carbs, how is the brass baffle in the float bowl retained? I'm guessing the bowl wedges the little curved tab between the bowl and gasket? Also the float valve has a very tiny clip on top. I'm assuming this is clipped to the center of the float hinge bracket? Thanks much for any help!
