1992 Starcraft euro elite 211 SS info?

Hello fellow Starcraft owners, I just recently purchased the above Starcraft and am trying to find a brochure on it. I am not having any luck. I would really like the gas tank size if anyone knows, that would be alot of help. I am having problems filling it without having it backsplash every 30 seconds and am not sure if I am filling it all the way since the gauge is a little off.

I have a 17' 93 Euro Sport .

I can't help with the brochures but my boat does the same thing when filling it with fuel. It seems like the way things are set up with the fuel fill does not allow the tank to purge air as the fuel comes in. I normally run the pump at about 1/2 throttle and stop periodically so the tank can burp. I still get small eruptions of fuel from time to time but nothing like what happens if I hold the pump full bore and leave it that way.

I don't know if there is a fix for this. I kind of think it's just a by product of the design of the fuel fill. I just deal with it and wash any fuel off the boat that might spill before I leave the pumps.

I have a 1992 elite 171 with a 3.0 Merc. What I do when I fill the tank, I turn the key to ON and watch the gauge and stop when the needle NEARLY hits full. It holds 24 gallons.

I have a 1992 starcraft elite 211

There is a fuel tank breather hose that should exit close to the filler. It has a small plastic fitting with the vent slot at the base.

Check that the pipe is not blocked. It enters the fuel tank beside the filler pipe. There should be a lable on the tank near there also that gives the tank size, lost mine after a refit so cant remember exact size.

Also check the filler hose for kinks, collapse etc.
