I have a 1992 Suzuki DT85...I am getting a very loud "chirping" sound from the front of the engine while running. Is this an alarm of some kind? I cleaned the oil tank and flow sensor and put in new Quicksilver oil and it is still making the sound. Any ideas

The chirping is most likely a lean sneeze caused by dirty carbs.

Not saying you didn't but anytime you decide to open the oil injection system, make sure to run premix well before you do. The oil pump moves oil very slowly and if air is introduced it could be minutes before the bearings and cylinder walls see lube.
