200 to rebuild a fuel pump is out of my range so i handed my dead vro pump to a boat mechanic who promptly replied he had 50 of them.

correct me if i'm wrong but any of the small fuel pumps will work, new or old, amazing but they're all the same, 9-115 hp, same 15 dollar rebuild kit, sierra kit sucks, same diaphram, same size footprint, same internal mechanics etc, etc, etc. The difference is if you have one without a barb on the pulse hole you'll have to tap and thread one in, i think i used 1/8 in. npt. If you find one with three barbs, it's a plug and play deal. I take that back there are ones with multiple hoses on the round plastic cover on the front which i have no idea are for, exta vacumn? i'm using the standard cover with one entry.

i installed one and it flew around the lake, no problems, but upon checking fuel pressure its too low for comfort, 1 to 1.5 idle, 2 to 2.5 revved.

so i installed another one in parallel by splitting the pulse line with a brass T barb. pressure now is 2 idle 4 to 5 revved.

pretty sure this set up is ok, was going to tap the case for another pulse line but this set up seems to work. hope this helps someone. IMG106.jpgIMG107.jpgIMG108.jpg
