Re: 1993 115 johnson steering arm issue

When i got my 96 johnson 88 Special the arm was so bad i didnt want to run it. I found one on Ebay from a freshwater motor for 50 bucks! The part retails for over $600!. Anyway they say you have to remove the powerhead to change it out, hogwash!. Actually was an easy job, with the help of a large tree(to hang my lifting strap) and a grinder to grind the large nut on the bottom off. Check around for a good used one.
