Only after it has had a few items checked.Compression,Spark test, lower unit,VRO,and finally a water test or Dyno.Inherently they were good motors.

These were sturdy, well- built motors. If it's been maintained properly, should continue to give good service for years.

It has been rebuilt. It had a low fuel alarm. Come to find out one of the injectors was plugged. The rebuilder said it was very minor damage but the owner didn't want to take any chances and had him do a full over haul cost him $2300. After the over haul he says it runs like a top. Hasen't had a lick of problems. Has about 30 hours on it since over haul.
