The power pack yellow and red sensor wire that connects to the starter shorted. The starter solenoid was accidently grounded to positive. I have replaced the starter solenoid. The Quick Start feature remains on constantly now. I have plans for the boat the day after Thanksgiving so I have overnighted a new CDI power pack. I put 45hrs on her two weeks ago on vacation and she ran flawless. I am assuming that I fried a control circuit in the pack. My question is two fold. Could I be missing anything else that was damaged which could cause this problem? The second question is could the stator or rectifier have been damaged in the grounding incident. Engine starts, tach works engine just operates at 6 degrees additional advance due to Quick Start. Speedy Input requested. Thank you so much
