1993 3 hp Johnson

I need to remove the bottom front piece of the case. How do I get the Fuel shut-off / choke button off. As you know there is the top and a bottom front and back.

BTW, is this a good little engine? If you know of any reoccurring problems please identify them.

Thank you very much. It appears that all I need to do is pull straight out very carefully. I thought so but it wasn't moving much. I suppose just firm but slow and straight.
