Just recently purchased pontoon with 60 evinrude.<br />1st outing ran full throttle at 3800rpm. Ran about 400 yards and slowly died. Started easily and ran about same and died. Started easy again and ran OK the rest of the day (4200rpm).<br />2nd time did the same thing. This time full throttle was 5200rpms. After the 3rd time, all it would do was start and go about 10 ft at idle. Tried to go half throttle and would go dead.<br />After reading numerous other simular problems, went and bought new bulb, filter,and plugs.<br />Have not tried this yet. I am open for any other<br />help. The bulb seemed to be firm.--Choking with the key made it die.<br /><br />Thanks <br />Fireman in need.
