Bought a nice 2452 and like the layout and most aspects. I don't really understand the water systems and could use some help; bayliner does not have manuals for 93s.
1. For the fresh water in,,,where do you put the fresh water in, and where and how do you drain the thing...where does the water drain out into for winterizing.
2. Where does the sink drain into,,,?
3. Head: It does not have macerator, so how do you empty it, and how to winterize the tank,,,where is the tank and is is accessible?
There is no water heater and no shore power, so basic systems I assume.
Thanks

1. There should be a screw-off deck fitting labeled 'Water'. That's where the water-in goes. To drain the tank, I have to open the faucets and drain the tank using the pump. No other good way to do so unless I disconnect plumbing and let the tank drain into the bilge.
2. Unless the boat has a 'gray water' holding tank for sink waste (not typical in 1993), water from the sink flows directly overboard through a hull fitting on the same side of the boat as the sink

3 Do you have a black water holding tank? If you do, there's a deck fitting with a screw off cap. You need to go to a pump-out station where a vacuum pump sucks all the 'stuff' out of the tank through that fitting. Winterization depends to an extent on the manufacturer of the head, and you should find their instructions. I winterize my Raritan Crown electric this way.

a. While the boat's still in the water, pump out the holding tank.
b. Haul the boat and open the raw water seacock. That should drain the water out of the hose leading from the seacock to the head.
b. Disconnect the water inlet hose from the head. Using a funnel, I pour a gallon of AF into the head's water inlet hose/pipe as I operate the switch. That draws AF through all the innards of the head, displaces any water in the assembly, and pumps it into the holding tank.
