1993 dt85 overheating

1993 nightmare i have replaced waterpump,thermastat,engine holder,exahast gasket,engine gasket yet it still sets off temp alarm over 4000 rpm's but it will run all day long under that please can anybuddy help before i go totally bald

i'll take a stab at it.
is the head too hot to touch for 3 seconds when the alarm is going off?
could be a faulty sensor. have you tested both the cylinder and heat temp sensors?

if not,
did you replace the whole water pump? including the base plate, housing, or just the impeller? the parts can and do warp over time and you may not be getting good pressure.

One other thing I have read is the water bypass valve. If this is stuck or not sealing well, water will not flow well up to the top cylinder.

i just replaced impeller bottom plate and gasket. I get lots of water out the thermastat.Im starting to think that my mechanic sold me the wrong exahst gasket.
