Still trying to fine tune this carb. When I first start this motor on the water, I have to choke it and let it warm up. After I idle to where I’m fishing and fish for awhile. I usually have to choke it again before it will start. Is this normal or is it running to rich? Thank you..

just turn the slow speed needle in to where it's running it's max rpm at idle, then back it out an 1/8-1/4 turn to prevent a lean condition. bingo. if it's still hard to start, troubleshoot ignition starting with compression test.

How long is it sitting for? If you are fishing for anything over 20 minutes that is a cold motor and will require choke to start it. And if all you are doing is idling the motor never truly warms up.

Ok thank you flyingscott. Yes, the lake I fish the most is idle speed only. So I never really get to hit WOT. And yes I will fish for more than 30 minutes using trolling motor. Then start the 15 to move to another spot. I know it’s not great for the motor to just idle all the time, should I run a hotter plug? Thx
