Hello All<br /> I Have A pontoon boat with a 1993 120 force on<br /> it the motor runs great for about 1/2 mile<br /> at 5000 rpms then all at once it will drop<br /> to 4000 rpms and run fine. sometime it seems<br /> to miss a little but will pick back up to<br /> 5000 rpms and run for 100 yards or so then<br /> back to 4000 and runs fine just will not get<br /> any faster or rpms mo matter what you do. I<br /> have checked the primer bulb when it does <br /> this and it is hard as a rock.checked vent on<br /> tank even install new tank. i have temp guage<br /> engine runs 100-130. could this be a switch <br /> box problem or something like that. the only<br /> thing that seems wrong is that it charges at<br /> 15.8 to 16 volts sometimes. compression is <br /> 150 on all holes. What i cant figer is that<br /> for the first 1/2 mile it will run great.<br /> What is the best way to check the switch box<br /> <br /><br /> Any Help Please
