My mechanic sais that my 70hp Force is only firing on 2 out of 3 cylinders. At first he said that cylinder wasn't getting any fuel but that the compression was good on all 3. This is a 3 cyl. 1 carb motor. here is his last message, I'm trying to make sense of what is going on...
checking your trigger. checked carb, checked compression, checked spark, checked reed valves and checked timing and # 2 cylinder still not working so got to hook up electricial box and check trigger to make sure cylinders firing on right place during cycle of piston. I hope something shows up soon. it would be great just to find what is happening to not let # 2 cylinder fire. The cylinder has compression and spark plug is wet with fuel, so now moving to trigger to make sure firing when piston coming to top dead center.
Seems to me if plug fires and it has fuel and compression and the timing is on it should be fine? Any ideas on this?
Thanks 5string
