got the motor to do this on hose and disconnected the main plug and jumped the big red wire and small yellow wire as instructed engine did start back. also it did it again so I checked for continuity between the two black wires on switch that kill the engine and had it with switch on I checked all sensors none changed the reading then I unpluged the plug going to coil pack with the black with yellow stripe in it and the reading went away and engine restarted. Is this a sign of bad coil pack or short in wiring from engine to switch

It is most likely a sign of either a bad ignition switch, a faulty emergency kill switch or a short to ground somewhere along the black and yellow wire.

Just for the record -- you said "engine dies for no reasone". There is always a reason an engine dies! Sorry -- couldn't resist that. d:)

the two black wires on ignition are only reading 3.250m ohms its not reading as a direct connection. could this still be in the areas you mentioned?
Thanks,

I had a similar problem today. Was running WOT for about an hour with no problems, then all of a sudden it died. And would not restart. I checked the bulb on the fuel line and found it could not get it to move fuel. I pulled the cowling off and disconnected the fuel line from the fuel filter and it pumped gas just fine, I pulled the filter and it looked good. I put it back together and the bubl got hard like it was supposed to. Then it didnt want to start, and when it did start it ran and then died, until eventually it stayed running long enough to get up to WOT, but it would only get up to 4900-5000 RPM instead of the usual 5100-5200. And when I putting it on the trailer, anytime i shifted from reverse into nuetral or fwd into neutral it weould die. I checked when I got home and I have spark on all 6 cylinder (at least to the plug) I want to change the plugs, I had some Autolite that crossed to the Champions in it, but they didnt work, so I have the old champions back in. Also when I bought it the guy had 1/4 tank of gas in it already. And as far as I know this is the first time it has been run this season. I had filled the tank up all the way before i took it out the other day. So would dumping the fuel in the tank, and replacing the plugs fix my problems or is there a bigger issue here?
