My 1993 225 has a lot of corrosion issues after 12 years in the salt. I am looking at a rebuilt 1996 Saltwater Series II of the same engine. I can't afford an HPDI or newer engine.<br /><br />1) Did they solve most of the corrosion issues in the Saltwater series? Are there any other known issues with the 1996 motors?<br /><br />2) Is this a bolt-and-go, plug-for-plug replacement? Or is any re-rigging required? <br /><br />Thanks!
