I did the 9.9 to 15hp throttle cam swap on my motor, but my coil went out shortly after. I was just wondering if the the throttle cam swap is legit and if anything else would need to be changed/ adjusted??? Could the cam swap in any way cause an electrical component to fail, as mine did after about 10 min of running WOT???

I agree. My fishing buddy here in Atlanta did the same swap on his Tohatsu ten years ago and had no such issue.

"I was just wondering if the the throttle cam swap is legit"

Yes

"if anything else would need to be changed/ adjusted"

Not if everything was adjusted correctly before the swap.

"Could the cam swap in any way cause an electrical component to fail, as mine did after about 10 min of running WOT"

Inherently impossible since tthe iming cam swap only allows the carburetor butterfly to open to its design limit and does not have anything to do with any ignition component.

Thanks, didn't figure it would have anything to do with it but just wanted to make sure before putting the new coil on. Just weird that it happened right after the cam swap, kindof had me worried. Do you think it would be the coil that's bad since it ran fine til it got warm, then quit getting spark all at once once warm, then started back after a min or 2 of cooling off, only to do the process again?? local boat shop said so, but they have been wrong before..

The only way to know is to test the part or swap it out. But, it's almost never one of the coils. Usually the CD will fail long before a coil will. And again, the only way to know is to test it or swap it out.

Replaced the ignition coil, still doing the same thing. Runs fine until its somewhat warm, then will not start again for 2 or 3 minutes. Do you think this would be the CDI box? Hopefully not anything under the flywheel.... those parts are too expensive to be worth fixing.. Does this sound like a bad CDI box? Do you know how much those run?

Just randomly swapping out parts is the most expensive way to fix an OB. The MSRP for a CD for that model is as follows:

362060602M C.D. IGNITION UNIT (CU15 KOKUSAN DENKI) $178.50

Better to get a service manual and start testing components, troubleshooting to find out what is failing; Otherwise you may change out a good CD. Unless of course you have a supply of spare parts to swap in and test out...

Pulser coil was out, swapped one from my parts motor and it runs as good as new. Last time I go to the boat shop here in town, they can't figure out the problem but I can? Something's wrong with that..

Any competent OB mechanic, armed with the proper service manual and appropriate tools/test equipment should be able to troubleshoot an ignition system. Perhaps your boat shop is not in that category.
