There is no water getting to the impeller from the I/O. I disconnected the water supply hose in the I/O and rigged up a hose into a 5 gallon bucket. The suction was good and I had water going through the motor and out the exhaust bellow. Ran water back down the I/O and water comes out the bottom fins. ???? Any ideas?

First, attempt to draw from a bucket will burn your impeller

Always use muffs or back the boat in the water

you could have debris in your PS cooler

Did you have the hose into the bucket before or after the power steering cooler ?

Try back flushing through the drive like you did before but try to stop the water from coming out of the intake, you may have an air leak at the joint where the lower gear case swivels or the aluminum nipple where water goes from that to the transom plate hose connection.
