1993 Yamaha c115tlrr

Were crusing yesterday around 3500 RPM's and just lost power and died. Got towed in and now check there is no spark. I have power going from the rectifier up under the flywheel but nothing on the wires coming back down from under the flywheel. Any ideas??

why are ya checking the rectifier? it has nothing to do with ign.<br /> test the low and high speed charge coils.<br /> brown to red should be about1050 ohms and blue toblack/red should be about127.<br /> also try it with the white wire removed from the CDI.
