1994 15 HP Merc.

I can't get my carb adjusted on my 94 15 HP Merc. If I get it started it just speeds up and quits. Fiddled with it all morning and very frustrated. I had it apart to change fuel pump diaphragm and primer diaphragm since it quit on lake on me last week.

Tiller or remote model? What is the low speed screw set at ?

Speeding up and quitting is a good sign it's running out of fuel. Are you sure the fuel pump is assembled properly? Tank is vented? No air leaks at the fuel fitting? No restrictions in the fuel tank?
