It's a repower, donor boat, truck moto, do ss num. Would match.
But it is a vortex heads and counter balance shaft..

Vortex? Sure you don't mean Vortec?

BTW...Vortec heads will only be on motors from vehicles 1996 or newer.

Yes it's Vortec heads, plugged off the non used holes for intake but I ordered a new 8 hole intake and the
A3 shutters.

Huh,..??..??

The angle, 'n depth of the intakes are different, as well as the number of mountin' bolt holes,....

That picture doesn't appear to be a Vortec intake, to Me,...

Heads are vortec, sorry holes where drilled and tapped into heads for this intake. There the open chamber in exhaust ports not the old school heads or pre vortec.
With that being said the intake is not a vortec intake with 8 holess but with 12 holes.
But that intake is garbage because of rusted out hole.
Not taking that chance again.
That intake was the only thing used on this long block that came from a Donner boat/motor.
I should have just changed it from the start.

Seriously? Why would anyone do that? Surprised it even worked.

Ayuh,.... Considerin' the intake ports are .200" higher on the Vortec heads,. I'm surprised it didn't suck air, 'n run lean,.....

Nope no problems there, the only problem was I used a the used iron intake from the donnor(400.00 boat) and accumulated a small pin whole under intake and was getting water in oil.
The only problem with using that intake on vortec heads is a couple bolts hole won't have alot of threads to catch, but my brother (mechanic) had a solution for that.
But i have a new intake on the way with shutters.
Also changing out to self guiding roller rockers and new push rods.
