1994 40hp Mercury

Someone wired the trim motor directly to a switch.

I want to rewire it correctly. It has nothing inside the cowl for tilt and trim. Is this something I can wire in the battery compartment?

And can someone help me on how to do this?

I know I’ll need a breaker and two relays.

Any and all help would be appreciated.
