1994 50 hp evinrude replace pinion bearing

I have removed the old bearing. Asking the experts before i mess up how to install the new bearing. Thanks guys

the new bearing has letters, will they go up or down. or does it matter? thanks guys

It sure does matter !------Find the STRONGER end of the bearing.----That is the end you push / hammer on.
