I would like to clean out the old gasoline in the carb on my evenrude outboard.
I recently purchased the motor and it had old gasoline. It ran okay for a while with the old gasoline. Then,when I wouold started it, it would stall right away. Now it will not start at all. On the theory that the old gasoline was the problem, I replaced the old gasoline in the tank and fuel line to the engine. It would still not start. So, now I want to clean out the carb to see if that solves the problem.
Does anyone know where I can get a repair manuel, or on line diagrams of the engine and carb?
Should I also rebuild the carb?
Can anyone think of another reason why the engine does not start?
